Since it’s the last day (and since it’s simple, haha) I thought it would be nice with a recent memory. This years Christmas Eve, yay! It was a busy day, starting with the same movie we watch every year along with most of Norway; Three Wishes for Cinderella. All the voices are dubbed by one man, and it sounds terrible, but there is no Christmas without it. Then I cooked rice porridge while watching Doctor Who, followed by some relaxing before it was time to start on the Christmas dinner. Vegan nut roast with lots of delicious side dishes, it was sooo good! Then we opened the presents, before having dessert. (And yes, I got a Kindle paperwhite! Been on my wishlist for over a year, so hurray!)
Since I’ve been showing so many travel memories lately, I decided to show a more normal memory today. One day in September. After saying goodbye to the sleepy head above, I went with Kjersti to a flea market. Unfortunately I didn’t take that many photos, but we did find some amazing books, and Kjersti found a red coat. When we got home I made dinner and she photographed my apartment, and made a drawing. And later that night I made pancaked before Paul and I went to bed. So maybe not a very exciting day to tell about, but it’s one of the days I remember the most from that year.
I’ve been soooo tired this last week, just want to sleep all day. And yesterday I was super tired, so no post then. Two posts today, yey! Here are more photos from France, when we were not busy camping. Hope you like them! Now I have to go and bake a cake, it’s my little sisters birthday today.
In 2010 I went to an artschool, and in november we went on a school trip to Spain. We stayed at this art house that the headmaster owned, right outside Barcelona, and it was a very beautiful place. Even though most of the people there were more interested in being drunk and getting high (including the teachers) instead of making art, I still had a good time. We made tea of herbs that we picked in the garden, roasted almonds that grew behind the house, dressed up like indians for no reason, walked up to the weird mountain and visited the caves, visited salvador dali’s museum (but I forgot my camera), and I celebrated halloween dressed like my favourite colour.
Time for more memories from the lovely Folk High School! And these are the last ones, so don’t worry. Only 5 days left now!
When we celebrated spring with ice cream, and then watched a class perform The Wizard of Oz. Our lovely Lisa played the witch.
When we had nothing better to do than sit in our window and enjoy the sun.
The day we met Lisa’s boyfriend, and went to the local…tavern? Aka the only drinking place nearby, you didn’t need to take a train ride to reach it. I don’t really drink, but I still somehow manage to forget that day completely. Especially the skateboarding part. Looks like I had a good time though!
When we went out at night to take pictures of the stars.
When we celebrated Halloween. Serena was a vampire, so I was her tombstone.
When we played basketball and piano before we did what we were suppose to. Taking photos for our school news paper.
Another night going to the drink hole, dressing the fun way. And we met a cat on our way home!
In 2008 I went on my first vacation without any parents. It was with my best friends at the time, and we decided to go to London. I’ve been to London many times, but I don’t have that much photos from it (except the ones I took earlier this year). Most of the times I was too young to care about taking photos, but there are also some photos that have gone missing (sad face!). Luckily these haven’t! We had a very good time, and we met a lot of celebrities, haha.
These photos were taken on a two day long camping trip in France. We stayed on the beach all day, and I had fun taking photos of strangers (it made me realise how stupid it was of me to worry about wearing a bikini, since we all look different and no one looks “perfect”).
Have you started getting tired of my calendar? I hope not! Today it’s another more recent memory. In 2011 I went to China for 5 week, when Paul was studying in Beijing. It was an amazing trip, I had dreamt about going to China since I was little. Especially visiting the Great Wall. Since I was there so long this post will be a little long, but hopefully you won’t mind.
(Maybe I should write more about my trip later…? Since I deleted all the original posts? Yes, no?)
